At this point in The Do’s Series, it seems clear the original work intended a pause or interlude to reflect on the story and its players.
“Pause 1” seems to be coincident with the surviving understandings of this webwork netnovel — though scholarly arguments remain as to the first formatting of the book.
The collections included here, in the interlude, start with a series of short truesays that may bridge to a newer day — or they may simply be daydreams from timepast.
As was the practice, there is at the end an appended youtube from the Old Days — though the writer of the second piece and the party appending the clipsing appear to have had access to differing versions of the tune.
Between the song works, written and sung, there is presented a rather active scene drawn on a high cliff above a roiling sea. A map is in the process of reconstruction which may shed light on where the event recounted here might have occurred.
A List of Names is itself still in the compilation stages. Particularly, the chronicler of this section is struggling with the song selection. That said, we are pushing the researcher, and this listing of names should be ready to view here at about this time next week.
Thank you for your patience and please enjoy the pause.
To write an old novel from scratch anew
Is not an easy undertaking,
Though worth the
